«I was deeply impressed with the two Barbarescos I tasted from Socrè this year. The vintage was not easy here, but Socrè nevertheless made two wines loaded with distinction. Most importantly, this small estate continues its ascent, and that is always great to see.»
Poi la nota si concentra sul vino in sé:
«The 2010 Barbaresco is a beautiful wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Nothing in particular stands out, rather it is the wine’s balance that impresses most of all. Fine, silky tannins lend support to dark red berries, sweet spices, licorice and mint in this supple, juicy Barbaresco. Already quite open and accessible, the 2010 can be enjoyed today, with some air, and over the better part of the decade.» Voto: 91
